A modern sleek airport, located just outside of the city centre |

The airport has the look of being well-looked after with modern facilities throughout |

After disembarking up the very steep airbridge you immediately descend a flight of stairs down to the immigration desks, all of which were open, despite it being gone 22:30. Immigration takes you straight into the luggage reclaim hall, and from there through the small customs hall to the arrivals lounge.
Despite landing at 22:30 all of the (4) immigration desks were open so it was very speedy to get through
The baggage hall is large with a few belts in it. It took quite some time for luggage to come round, and considerably longer for mine to arrive!
There is a very small customs room which you walk through. There doesn't appear to be any staff on duty (though that may have been because all the flights that had arrived were from within the EU and non-connecting)
The U-Bahn station is just outside the airport front entrance. The regular driver-less trains take just over 10 minutes to reach the central station

The checkin area is spacious and light. Up the escalator you reach the security area which again has quite a bit of space, then you are through into the Duty Free shop and out of that into the departures lounge. As my flight was to the UK I had to go to a separate part of the lounge for boarding, through a passport check.
What really lets the airport down, is for it's size there is a lack of catering facilities. Nothing I could spot landside and only one small cafe/bar airside

None
A small number of shops immediately through security
The toilets were, generally, fairly clean.
