International
There are no air bridges at Rhodes so all disembarkation is done via buses to the immigration hall. This was well staffed and very quick. As I used the airport during the time of Covid immediately after the passport checks there were checks of the mandatory passenger locator forms to make sure you had recorded all your details - this was in part of the space of the baggage reclaim hall and it looked as though one of the belts had been taken out of service to make space. Once through baggage reclaim it was a straight exit out through the green customs channel to the arrivals area.

Immigration was quick and efficient

Baggage reclaim is in a large hall with a number of belts. Bags came round quickly

A simple corridor that you walk down from the baggage reclaim hall - if you need to declare anything you'd have to seek out a member of staff

There are regular buses from the airport into Rhodes town centre, taking about 30 minutes to make the journey

International
The large check-in hall at the front of the airport has a reasonable amount of space, once checked in the security area is busy but operates smoothly with little waiting even at a busy time. Once through security you are into the main departures lounge. For non-Schengen flights you then have to pass through immigration into a smaller but still well equipped lounge. There are no air bridges so all boarding is done via a ramp down to the air field and then buses to the plane.
