General: |
A relatively major hub for the area, particularly with all the Oil Executives flying around the North Sea. |
Appearance: |
The airport looks relatively modern, and appears to be being refurbished, though this does mean in some areas it's not as modern as in others |

On landing it’s a short walk from the airbridge to the immigration desks and then through them down a flight of stairs to the baggage hall. There is a green channel for nothing to declare and a phone (coloured red) for customs declarations. Through a short corridor and you are out into the arrivals area
Immigration was two small booths, but the queue was quick.
The small baggage hall has just two belts
Customs is a short corridor which is the green channel, and a phone if you need to make declarations
There are regular flybussen coaches to the city centre, taking around 25 minutes

After checking in and taking the escalator up to the security area you pass through security. From there you pass through secure one-way doors into the international departures lounge. For Schengen flights the gates are within this lounge. For non-Schengen flights you have to pass through passport control to a small gate room the other side of that
There is a cafe/bar landside and a bar in the departures lounge
There is a café/bar landside and a small café/restaurant airside
There is a small self-service café/restaurant airside and a small café landside
A large duty-free shop takes up most of the space in the departures lounge
