That was convenient as we had to be out of the cabins no later than 08:00, meaning we could stay in the cabins until the last moment and then head down for breakfast before making our way to the assistance lounge.
The whole process was incredibly smooth, with mum being wheeled off the ship within a couple of minutes of us getting to the lounge. I found the luggage almost straight away, and we ended up back in the main hall of the terminal by 09:00, 40 minutes ahead of the time we’d booked the taxi for.
Given than I’d spoken with reception shortly after a meeting with the Future Cruise Bookings team, it meant we were able to log that next year we could probably book the taxi for closer to 09:00
