***Original 2018 Review*** 5 Star - Lovely hotel located right on the harbour in the centre of Tromsø. Very comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast, afternoon waffles and light evening meal. Staff were all friendly and helpful
***2026 Update*** The hotel wasn't as good as last time. Rooms looked in serious need of refurbishment, common areas were tired, food was mediocre - though the latter wasn't helped by there being ongoing strike action at the time amongst some hotel workers. The initial checkin was problematic requiring two changes of room before getting the room I was actually paying for. Generally a serious decline in the hotel in eight years.
