My Review

Considering how consistant Premier Inns are, it's amazing they let this one go so wrong. On a warm summers stay the air conditioning in the room was broken. Becasue the rooms are air-con'd the windows are sealed so there was no way to get any fresh air into the room and the provided fan just moved the hot air around as it got increasingly warm. It was actually cooler in the corridor than in the room. When I asked to move to a cooler room I was told the hotel was fully booked and there was nothing they could do, despite rooms still being for sale on the website for the night.
None of the staff were particularly helpful, and most didn't appear to care that they had a room that was a furnace. If the staff had at least shown some empathy I might have given this a higher rating, but it's a really bad performance from a usually bullet-proof chain. Breakfast was OK but nothing special.
