The train was comfortable and we were only in the dark for five minutes when the took the engine off the front and powered up the electrics. As it was a Saturday there was no trolley service, just a long walk to the buffet

A relatively comfortable, if slightly scary journey with massive banging noised coming from the train every so often as chunks of ice fell off the carriages and went under the wheels. A heavily reduced on-board service as staff had struggled to get into work. All credit to Virgin for spreading the staff they had across all the trains to keep them all running, rather than trying to give full coverage on fewer trains.

Two minutes late from Chester as the train crew decided to hold the train to allow all of us who were on the late Arriva train to make the connection. 5 minutes late into Euston

A relatively comfortable journey, though the train was quite grubby, the Wi-Fi was flaky and the power sockets didn't work which made me feel the train wasn't in the best of repair Train was short staffed so the on-board service was much below what you normally would expect from Virgin

Left 22 minutes after the original departure time from St Pancras instead due to a fatality on the Euston line that had led to all services being suspended Having diverted via Nottingham and a very slow train across the Midlands we arrived 3 hours 10 minutes after the original due time, but that train was on time

Given the chaos that had occurred because of the fatality it was a very comfortable and smooth, if lengthy journey Tickets were accepted without any quibble and Virgin refunded the full cost as delay repay so no real complaints
