A relatively comfortable, if slightly scary journey with massive banging noised coming from the train every so often as chunks of ice fell off the carriages and went under the wheels. | A heavily reduced on-board service as staff had struggled to get into work. All credit to Virgin for spreading the staff they had across all the trains to keep them all running, rather than trying to give full coverage on fewer trains. |
