Had to catch a bus over 30 minutes earlier than the original booked train as London Midland appears to be unable to employ enough staff to not be crippled when some of them decide not to work overtime. 1 hour 35 late into Euston (on original scheduled time) due to the broken down bus (would have been 35 minutes late even if the bus had worked because of the strike

The first part was OK, right up to the point when the radiator on the coach blew out and we came to a grinding halt by the side of the road. We had to wait there for 40 minutes for a replacement coach to arrive before being able to set off again. By the time we arrived in Milton Keynes we had missed the connection so had a 40 minute wait for the next train. No service, and no apology for the complete shambles, no staff even around to apologies for the chaos at Milton Keynes.
