After landing it was quite a bit of a walk back to the immigration hall. At the time of arrival everyone was being directed to the ePassport gates and these were quick in processing people through. From immigration its down an escalator into the massive baggage reclaim hall, clearly very busy in the summer in early January it was deserted, with large parts in darkness. From baggage reclaim it’s a short walk through the customs channels to the arrivals hall

There are regualr aerobuses into town, running every 20 minutes and taking about 20 minutes to reach the bus station, a further 10 minutes to the very centre of the city and another 10 round to the main railway station

International
The very spacious checkin area has ample space for early January, as to whether the same can be said in late August! From checkin there is just one entry into the security screening area, but there were several lines operating. From security its out into the departures lounge. Unlike many other airports the departures lounge is a whole for all flights, with passport control for non-Schengen destinations being conducted at the gate
