Terminal 3 is very modern and shiny and looks very new. Terminal 3 and 2 are joined together, terminal 1 is a short bus journey away |

From the airbridge you come almost immediately to immigration, then there is a walk that possibly challenges Heathrow and Gatwick to the crowns of longest walk to baggage reclaim! The reclaim hall is very large with lots of belts and good lighting. Then it is a short walk through customs to the land side. Total time taken to walk from the plane to the baggage belt was over 15 minutes, and the baggage had still not arrived!
Very friendly and efficient passport checks
The baggage hall is a long walk from the plane. It took over 15 minutes from getting off the plane to getting to the baggage hall. The hall itself is very large, but bright with lots of baggage belts and lots of screens giving a count down until the estimated arrival of your luggage.
Walking through the blue channel I did not spot a single member of staff and there didn't appear to be any in green either.
Terminal 3 is located directly above the airport station and regular trains zip you to the Central station in Copenhagen in about 10 minutes. In addition the Metro also stops at the airport and takes around 15 minutes to get to the city centre

International
Like Oslo, this is another airport that has been designed with Schengen in mind. The departures area for flights out of the Schengen zone are tucked away at the very end of one of the terminal arms, the other side of passport control. Once through this there are some toilets and that's it. There are no other facilities.
A couple of coffee shops and one of the fast food outlets serve alcohol on the land side. Once through there are a few bars included in with the other food outlets.

There is a small newsagents on the land side of the airport. Once through to security it resembles a shopping mall with lots of shops selling almost anything you could want.
The toilets are pristine (as in the rest of Denmark) and well maintained.
