General: |
The main airport for the region. N.B. I have only landed at this airport so the review is incomplete |
Appearance: |
A modern looking airport or one that has been recently refurbished |

A quick walk across the tarmac takes you to the immigration hall (if you are non-schengen). Through the immigration desks you are by the single, short baggage conveyor, and then down a small corridor marked as nothing to declare and out into the arrivals area of the terminal building
When I arrived there were just three desks open for a full plane load of people, however, given that most of the flights to Gdansk are from Schengen members it would only be UK and Irish flights, and very rare flights from outside the EU that would use this part of the terminal
A single baggage belt, again reflecting the lack of flights from outside of Schengen
A single corridor, with no members of staff visible, and no apparent place for them to hide even if they were around!
There are regular buses from the forecourt into town, taking about 45 minutes
