General:

Small airport service Granada and Jaén

Appearance:

Quite a small airport all located on a single floor

Inbound

Domestic
I have not flown to this airport on a domestic flight

International
After landing you have to walk across the airfield to the terminal building. One door is marked Schengen and another All other. Through the all others you go through immigration and out into the baggage reclaim halls where the Schengen door comes directly into. There didn't appear to be any customs so its just through some sliding doors and out to the arrivals area.

A single booth checking Non-EU passports and one guy going down the line of EU passports checking

For such a small airport there is a disproportionate number of baggage belts (three)

There didn't appear to be any, though there could just have been plain clothes officials wandering around

Busses into Granada meet each flight.

Outbound

Domestic
Domestic departure is the same as international, without the passport check on the gate (but as the streams of passengers merge again on the other side it's a bit pointless!)

International
Having checked in it’s a short walk through the security area to the departures lounge, which has virtually no facilities. There is a small kiosk which opened just before the flight was called, a couple of vending machines, and a toilet and that's it. You go through passport control at the gate

One small café/bar landside near the checkin desks. Nothing airside

None

A couple of kiosk landside, one small kiosk airside which only opened a few minutes before the flight was due to leave

The toilets are clean
