General: |
Small airport handling a limited number of flights, mostly budget airlines |
Appearance: |
Modern building and facilities, but quite small |

From landing you walk across the tarmac to the immigration hall, where there were several desks open, through from immigration into the quite large baggage reclaim hall and then out past signs asking you to self-declare for customs before exiting to the arrivals hall
Immigration was speedy and efficient
For the size of the airport the baggage reclaim hall was quite large with a couple of belts and lots of light
Customs was a telephone to call to make declarations, otherwise it was straight through a door into arrivals
There are local bus services into town

The airport is very small so when there are two flights scheduled around similar times it becomes very cramped. From the small checkin area there is a short walk to the security area and into the departures lounge. Gate areas are very cramped and clearly designed for small regional jets - not the 737's that Ryanair fly here. There are no air bridges, instead you walk to the plane on the tarmac
One café/bar airside above the main departures hall, a small kiosk landside

None
A couple of small shops, including a duty free shop in the small departures lounge
The toilets were all clean and well maintained
