General:

The main airport for Southern France service the Côte d'Azur

Appearance:

The airport looks like it has recently undergone modernisation as the terminal is modern and very light

After landing it's a relatively short walk into the terminal building, even from an outlying gate, down an escalator into a quite small immigration area which then leads into the large baggage reclaim hall. Customs was little more than a desk across the exit doors

A couple of booths at the bottom of the stairs/escalators from the jet bridges. The officers on duty when I landed were very efficient and cleared a large flight in a few minutes

The large baggage reclaim hall is spacious and well laid out with lots of trollies.

Customs was just a couple of benches next to the exit doors from the baggage hall

Regular buses run from the airport to the centre of the city, taking around 20 minutes

For non-Schengen flights it's worth staying in the main departures lounge, which has lots of facilities, until shortly before the flight is called as once through passport control there are only limited facilities.

There is a large food court area landside and several food outlets airside
