General:	The former RAF base of St Mawgan (albeit their facilities were on the other side of the airfield), this is now the main commerical airport in Cornwall, located a couple of miles north of Newquay.

Appearance:	The airpor terminal buildings are relatively new, though already showing their age in places. As it's a small airport only handling a few mostly domestic flights the facilities aren't up to the same level as an international airport, but they are sufficient when there is just the one flight departing. The lounge areas look like they would struggle if two or more flights were leaving close together.

On arrival it's down the steps and a short walk over to the terminal building where you enter directly into the baggage reclaim hall, and then straight out down a corridor to the arrivals hall.

There is a small baggage reclaim hall just inside the building on arrival from domestic flights

There are a limited number of buses into Newquay, otherwise taxis flock to the airport around arrival times

The checkin area is surprisingly large given the limited number of flights, but that's where large areas end as the security area appears to be squeezed into an l-shaped space between the checkin area and the departures lounge. The lounge itself is sufficiently large for a single flight, but would become very cramped if more than one plane was departing at similar times. From the gates it�s a short walk across the apron to the plane.
