description The one tram line in the city centre runs out to the museums on Djurgården. It is operated as a rolling museum. Trams were withdrawn from Stockholm when the country swapped from driving on the left to driving on the right in the late 1960's

description Three main lines cross the city centre (all meeting at the central station) dividing outside of the centre to go to different destinations. The lines have been blasted through the granite rock that Stockholm is built on. In many places they have left the stations as they were blasted so they look like large caves. Several of the stations have been highly decorated and turned into art galleries.

description I only used the Arlanda express from the airport to the city centre. The trains were very comfortable and modern and kept perfectly to time
