description | Three main lines cross the city centre (all meeting at the central station) dividing outside of the centre to go to different destinations. The lines have been blasted through the granite rock that Stockholm is built on. In many places they have left the stations as they were blasted so they look like large caves. Several of the stations have been highly decorated and turned into art galleries. |
