description A good network of bus services radiating from St Helier to all parts of the island, operating on a flat fare system so it's the same price for every journey. During summer season there are good levels of service to the whole of the island, but on Sundays in between late October and mid March some parts of the island aren't reachable, though core routes (such as Gorey and the Airport) still provide at least 3 buses an hour even on winter Sundays. During the summer the services are quite regular and very reliable, almost to the extent that you can set your watch by them. The only disadvantage is that all the route radiate out of St Helier and to go from one part of the island to the other will almost always involve changing (and paying again) in St Hellier. Discount 1, 2, 3, 5 or 7 day unlimited travel tickets are available from the information desk in the bus station in St Helier and can provide big savings if you make a couple of journeys each day.
