Kissamos/Kasteli 
Description
The western most big town on the island. The town is home to an archaeological museum and a number of archaeological remains as well as pleasant beaches.

At the time of visiting in July 2020 there were six or seven buses a day between Chania and Kissamos, taking about 70 minutes to make the journey. The service levels were being slowly increased following the Covid lockdown, and most indications were that in normal times there would usually be a close to hourly service for much of the day. Due to the limited number of buses they were very crowded, which delayed the journey making it take longer, so in normal times it should only take around 60 minutes.Latitude: 35.495346; Longitude: 23.65458
