Silchester's public transport options are limited to a handful of irregular buses on a route between Tadley and Basingstoke that only runs Monday to Saturday. The other option is to take the train to Bramley and follow the Silchester Trail, which is a 4 mile walk to Silchester across open countryside. Alternatively you can walk along the quiet country lanes which cuts about a mile off the walk, but does mean you need to keep an eye out for the few speeding motorists that do come past.Latitude: 51.353606; Longitude: -1.100598
