My Review

The hotel was in the process of being renovated at the time of staying, which didn't help towards the overall atmosphere as it was the reception and bar area that were closed off. The room was comfortable and the reception and bar staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was OK
The real downside was that housekeeping did a really poor job of making up the room after the first night - not even bothering to provide loo roll or replacement toiletries. I had to ask reception to fix, and it still took them over an hour to get it sorted. At no point was I offered anything more than a begrudging apology. Really poor service that let the hotel badly.
