Newgrange Tour, Dublin

Description

The tour starts outside Dublin Tourism office and takes about an hour to drive north to the Newgrange visitors centre.

After an hour to look around the visitors centre you board a shuttle bus from the centre over to the site of Newgrange for a tour of the passage grave. After this it's back to the visitors centre and after a short lunch break back onto the coach

From Newgrange you travel north through Slane to Monasterboice and the ruins of the church and round tower

From Monasterboice its back down the motorway into the heart of Dublin

The tour is well presented and the guide very knowledgeable
